Listed below are a few of the projects that are currenly being undertaken

Belaku Shishunivasa
The Belaku Shishunivasa was established by Dr. Mohan Davaskar on the 5th of May 2000. 'Belaku' means 'Light' in Kannada. As the name suggests, the project aims to provide food, shelter, education and primarily a healthy environment for orphans and destitutes. Belaku Shishunivasa is currently home to more than thirty children.

Some of the main objectives of this project are
  • Provide food and shelter to homeless and destitute children
  • Provide medical care when necessary
  • Provide good education
  • Help homeless and destitute children become responsible and respectable citizens
Belaku Vridhashrama
The Belaku Vridhashrama was started by Dr. Mohan Davaskar on the 5th of May 2000 to provide food, shelter and a healthy environment for old orphan women. Belaku Vridhashrama is currently home to 8 people.

Some of the main objectives of this project are
  • Provide food and shelter to old orphan women
  • Provide medical care when necessary
  • Make sure that members don't feel lonely
